Pansies in watercolor.....surely spring is on it's way????

Another piece from the past....
masses of blooms looking towards the light.....

"Keep your face always toward the sunshine -
and shadows will fall behind you."

Yellow

I'm not sure what this means
from a psychological point of view
but I seem to be obsessed
this week
with variations on the colour
yellow.

Spring Nostalgia

While doing a little pre-spring cleanup in the studio
I came across an archive of my old work - watercolours.

This narcissus peaking through a snow storm
could have been painted this year.

We'll have to wait a bit longer for the fosythia to bloom!
I have a 2-3 foot rock wall in my garden
which is still completely buried in snow and ice!
